Route: Down across road and through woods to riverside track (112069). Follow E to Rd at Holmebridge by cricket ground. Go behind pub and through housing estate to reach open fields. Go N to Carr Green, L at Rd then R to Hogley Green. Down then up to cross main road A635 (124081). Through Upperthong to join Hill Lane. Follow E then SE to arrive in Holmfirth (142082)
Follow A6024 W for 0.5km to 2nd FP at 135077. Follow riverside path W to FB at 127072. Cross and head uphill and over road to path on R at 131067. Follow to Vineyard. Take rd R downhill and R again to junction. Take FP on L then across fields to join path at 120063. Continue up hill then over wall to track. Follow SW to path junction (117056) then down by side of woods to road and car park at Brownhill Res. Cross dam, at end turn R and follow path through woods N then W. Cross river at waterfall then NE then NW to the Hobbit House and Rd at Holme. Go L to pub (The Fleece).
Behind pub find the Kirklees Way and follow N through fields to Digley Res. Go L then over dam. Turn Right and follow track E to car park.
