Route AM: Pennine Way NW to Leyzing Clough, path NE to West Nab via Raven Rocks. Descend NE to road via Cock Crowing Stone. From SE084092 take path NE down to Royd Edge then loop round via Sun Royd and Royd before dropping down to Royd Edge Clough. Follow river path to SE100099. SW via Green Bottom and Royd Bridge to pick up Harden Hill Road. At SE106092 take footpath S into Harden Clough and then cross the A635 at SE103080. Descend via Upper Knowl to Bilberry Dam SE103070. Lunch
Route PM: Cross Dam then via Kirklees Way to Holme. Pub! NNW via Meal Hill and Issues Road to SE101063. Cliff Road SW to SE097056 then ascend towards Cliff Edge and follow the delightful path along Issue Edge to Wrigleys Cabin. W to join Pennine Way and S to Soldiers Lump (surely the nicest way up Black Hill). Pennine Way N back to cars.
