The Royal Victoria Hotel , Llanberis has been booked once again for this year’s Annual Dinner for the weekend of 9-11 November. The principle guest and speaker will be Nigel Dennis who will offer a different perspective on extreme adventure and exploration. Nigel was the first person in the world to kayak around Cape Horn in December 1977. Since then, he has been involved with expeditions by kayak to South Georgia, Antarctica and Easter Island . Nigel along with Eila Wilkinson will present an illustrated talk of their experiences on the Friday evening at 9 pm in the Gwynedd Lounge.
On the Saturday I propose to visit Moel Cynghorian with hopeful views of Cloggy 10 am start from the hotel.
On the Sunday explore the industrial history of Llanberis Slate quarries visit Australia bring a torch . 10 30 start from Hotel a minutes silence will be taken at 11 am at Pentre Castell behind the hotel
