As already advertised, the Working Meet at Craigallan this year is a new
arrangement. The Meet is scheduled for a full week, Monday to Friday, which I hope will
make the journey more worthwhile. Offers of help are most welcome for any part of the
week, which will allow the mixing of jobs with days out. Any day spent primarily working
results in free nights in the hut both before and on that day. At the moment, arrival before
Monday is fine but please book any beds required in the usual way. We need to leave on
Friday 15 September as the hut is now fully booked for the weekend by a member with a
large group. We will arrange a free communal meal on the most suitable evening of the
week, once I know who is helping on the meet. When I have an idea of numbers and
working days offered, I will be able to work out a wish list of jobs and I will be in contact
with all volunteers in good time. Please let me know if you are able to offer help on this
meet and which nights you wish to stay. Decisions about exactly which days you wish to
allocate for jobs can be left until during the week so there is no need to tell me at this
stage how many days you can offer to help. I will only take hut bookings for this week from
those offering to contribute for at least one day. Just get in touch if you need any more
information before deciding what to do. All offers of help will be much appreciated.
