Duddon Fell Race Meet – High Moss Jim Paxman
Duddon Valley Fell Race, on Saturday 3rd June, will be the third of the six
2023 English Championship races and the first of the Lakeland Classics. Race
registration is at the Newfield Inn. In addition to ‘Long Duddon’ (18 miles with 6,000’
of ascent), ‘Short Duddon’ (9.5 miles with 3,000’ of ascent) is run on the same day.
Entries for both races are via SiEntries. Fell racing is not compulsory(!) and there will
also be folk going out walking and or climbing. Olwyn and I will cater for all on the
Saturday evening. My details are in the Handbook.
