Hot on the heels of the September Peris Horseshoe race meet, we get another bite
of the cherry, this time at High Moss. This meet has been running, very successfully,
since 2019. It has been a popular event with new members and aspirants. The plan will
be to head out in groups with matched ambitions and capabilities for runs on the
Saturday and Sunday. There will certainly be a steady group (as I’ll be there). There will
be a medium group and occasionally we even muster a swifties group (no not that
sort!). Some hill running experience is a good idea, but one of the objectives of this
meet is always to enable the Pennine‐centric bog trotters to get some big hill
experience, alongside the old hands. It’ll be cold and it’ll be wet, so bring your good
winter kit & full studs. On the Saturday night we’ll muster a veggie curry, so please give
some thought to bringing accoutrements to contribute.
