Joint RC/CC Climbing Meet in Cornwall Andy Tomlinson & Rob Seymour
Rob Seymour and I are running a joint RC/CC Meet at the Count House for the
week of 10-16 July. Rob is both a RC and CC member and also Custodian of the Count
House. We have 17 beds set aside for members and there is also a reasonable amount
of space for vans and tents. If all the space fills up, there are several good local
campsites too.
The Count House is superbly situated, being a 10-minute walk to Bosigran, with
many other excellent Cornish crags within walking distance or a short drive away.
Whilst I billed it as a ‘climbing’ Meet, we see it more as a ‘come and do what you
fancy’ Meet as there is also excellent walking, biking, and sea kayaking...or just lazing
around enjoying the sun and sea! The plan is to have a BBQ, at the weekend, which
the CC is kindly hosting.
Come and join us for all or part of the week and get it in your diary. To date I have
twelve members booked for bunks and several for van/camping space so bunks are
filling up. For those climbing, it is just two weeks after the Gogarth Meet, so you
should have your sea-climbing head well and truly prepared! So, get in touch and book
