President’s Meet – Family Meet High Moss

President’s Meet – Family Meet at High Moss           Mark Jenneson
I titled this as a family meet in the calendar but I am not really sure what I meant
by that. What I want is for this to be a meet for all - young, old and everything in
between. However noisy children, grumpy teenagers and loquacious old people are
particular welcome (please substitute your own adjectives). The primary objective is
to fill High Moss with people having fun (in fact I really want to fill the grounds as
well!). The plan is to leave Saturday clear for people to do as they please, although I
will be aiming to go climbing and anybody who wants to is welcome to join me. On
Saturday night I will cook a meal and then on Sunday I will lead a walk/run around
Seathwaite, based on the route Mike Gregg posted in Meetstaff, to see how many
times we can cross the Duddon while keeping our feet dry (optional).
