After an exploratory year away from Hope valley we are returning to the Anglers Rest in Bamford. Here we can be assured of excellent walking choices that can be tailored to your liking on the day. The Walk If you’d like to convene for breakfast coffee etc, the Rest Café in the Anglers Rest is open from 9.00am. Free parking in the pub car park. The main event is to walk from the Anglers Rest leaving at 10am. This year we will walk via Win Hill and Jaggers Clough to Edale Village…our return route is via Hollins Cross, Lose Hill and then a choice of three final sections. Either re-climb Win Hill via Twitchill farm, or descend Lose Hill to Hope and return along the south bank of the River Noe to Shatton thence Bamford, or find your way to Bamford via Hope Woodland Cemetery and Aston Lane. We should all be back in the Anglers Rest by 4.30pm for ‘early doors’ drinks. A map will be sent online to all confirmed attending the Meet. The Hotpot, Hotpot with veggie option and Apple Crumble is served from 5.15pm. Cost £10.00 payable to Jan Beatty on the day. Please confirm your order to John
