The plan is to meet at Llanvihangel Crucorney 325 206 next to the Skirrid Mountain Inn at 10 00 am. The round trip to Hay on Wye over the Gospel Pass is about 30 miles with around 1100 meters of ascent. The Gospel Pass is the highest road in Wales 1801 feet, so at my age I wont be rushing but enjoying the sites of this beautiful part of Wales. I suggest a cafe lunch in Hay on Wye and a socially distance pint in the Skirrid at the end of the day. Let me know if you are interested by Wednesday 7th July. The plan is to cycle about 50 miles each day at a leisurely pace and explore the quieter roads of the limestone Peak. Café and pub stops will be mandatory and I will provide a group meal on the Saturday night. If you just want to come and climb , walk or cave you will be made very welcome. 12 places available in this superbly appointed hut owned by the MAM. Cost for members £10 per night .

Quick update before disappearing to the Isle of Skye , 61 people have signed up so far for the Annual Bash. Application forms can be downloaded off this website or can be found in previous copies of meetstaff , happy adventuring to everyone !

On the Saturday I propose to visit Moel Cynghorian with hopeful views of Cloggy 10 am start from the hotel. On the Sunday explore the industrial history of Llanberis Slate quarries visit Australia bring a torch . 10 30 start from Hotel a minutes silence will be taken at 11 am at Pentre Castell behind the hotel
