Car parking update 28/10/2018 from Frank Procter: The published start is in Coombs Road @ SK223686. Having done a recce of the area the road side parking is restricted to 2hours and the public car park is £5 / day (very busy /popular). I am now proposing to park on the showground car park (plenty of space) which is unfortunately £5.50 / day. The entrance is on the A6 900m SE of the roundabout in the centre of Bakewell. We can meet at the first hardstand parking on the right by the first payment machine ( grid ref: SK223,682) and start the walk from there. Or you can park where you like and meet there anyway.
