Many thanks to Andy Llewellyn for all the hard work and organising of the Jura meet. Jackie’s first bothy meet and according to David Nightingale one of the best. The trip across on the boats set the tone for the challenging weekend. Thankfully all managed to escape the wrath of hurricane Ophelia so all in all a fab meet.

Yes we had it all to ourselves. It is a good bothy, dry and with a good stove and plenty of room
Eight of us stayed inside with another four or five camping outside or by the beach
There was even transport the last mile by argotrak with the ghillie
