Hi,
I’m planning to walk the Welsh 3000s over the weekend of 22–24 May and can offer support to up to three others if anyone would like to join.
I’ll be based at Beudy, where there is currently space available if you’d like to book a bed.
Plan:
Friday 22 May:
Evening ascent of Snowdon via the Pyg Track from Pen-y-Pass (starting ~7pm), then bivvy near the summit.
Saturday 23 May:
05:00 start from the summit, taking in Garnedd Ugain and Crib Goch, before descending via the north ridge into Cwm Glas Mawr and dropping overnight kit at Beudy.
There will be a supported stop at Glan Dena (SH 668 605), at the foot of Tryfan, before continuing over the Carneddau to finish at Bwlch y Ddeufaen (SH 720 715), where a lift back to Beudy will be arranged.
Route:~27 miles / 10,350 ft ascent
Estimated finish: between 17:00–19:00 on Saturday
