Easter Meet 2019 – Durness
Yes, I know Easter’s a long way off, and Durness is a long way away, but if you were to join my Easter Meet next year you could participate in what might just be the most Northerly UK mainland meet the club has ever organised. Durness is in an area rich in geological and historical interest with excellent walking, cycling, scrambling, and climbing opportunities in some of Sotland’s most fascinating scenery. Incidentally, it’s also where John Lennon used to spend his childhood Summer holidays. I have booked exclusive use of the “Lazy Crofter ” hostel, which sleeps 20, for four nights from 19th April, 2019.
