Wednesday Walkers: 11.5mls from Fairfield Church [067741] via Fairfield, Tunstead, Flag Dale, Blackwell, Chelmorton, Staden. Pub Church Inn at Chelmorton.
Wednesday evening climbing: Egerton Quarry; approach along A666 Bolton-Blackburn road. Turn R at the prominent war memorial onto Darwin Rd for 500m [past Dunscar Arms], then L up Arnold Rd. The Flag Inn is on the L at the next junction, which leads up to the quarry. Co-ordinator: Ade Pedley
