Last weekend John Warburton informed members of the very sad news of Alf Gleadell’s sudden death on 23rd November 2019. His funeral is to be held at Walton Lea Crematorium, Chester Rd, Higher Walton, Warrington WA4 6TB on Thursday 19thDecember 2019 at 3.40pm and the celebration of his life with continue at Tetley Walker Recreation Club, 37 Long Ln, Warrington WA2 8PU after. The family have requested no flowers but donations to a charity, which will be announced later, would be appreciated. Understandably we expect many people will want to attend so, to help the family prepare, could you please let Andy Tomlinson know if you intend going by Friday 12th December, ideally by email.
