Note Car parking update 28/10/2018:suggested park on the showground car park (plenty of space) which is unfortunately £5.50 / day. The entrance is on the A6 900m SE of the roundabout in the centre of Bakewell. Meet at the first hardstand parking on the right by the first payment machine. Andy Howie writes: Saturday: RC Navigational Challenge Starts & (hopefully) finishes at Bowden Bridge Car Park in Hayfield (GR SK 049 869) at the Junction between Kinder Road & Edale Road with interval starts from 9.30am. The course will be a series of Checkpoints around and about “Kinder” and her kindred fells. Maps, with Checkpoints marked and zip-seal plastic bags provided. The course will be 12 to 18+ miles depending on the participant route choices and how many checkpoints they visit.
