Now solved! Thanks to all concerned.

I left my jacket at the 50th anniversary weekend. It was on the coat rack but is not there now. Has anyone picked it up?

Great to see so many friends and members at this year’s Rucksack Club Gogarth Meet – we broke all records with a turnout of 90 (yes, NINETY!) on the beach for the BBQ. We even managed a few routes over the weekend (okay, quite a few… Including Positron; The Cow and The Moon; Assassin; Kalahari Highway; Quartz Icicle, Lighthouse Arête and not to mention a family ascent of Slippers by Helen, Pete & Chris with 200 years of experience on the rope! ) Also plenty of paddling and pedaling being done, and even a few sandcastles! A big thank you to everyone who came along, and especially the burger flippers, beer carriers, wood provider and litter pickers. Same place, same time (and hopefully same weather!) next year so keep your diaries clear. Here are a few photos as a reminder… Cheers, Dom and Helen

Week of 18 – 24 June 2018 Wednesday Walkers: 11.5mls from Fairfield Church [067741] via Fairfield, Tunstead, Flag Dale, Blackwell, Chelmorton, Staden. Pub Church Inn at Chelmorton. Wednesday evening climbing: Egerton Quarry; approach along A666 Bolton-Blackburn road. Turn R at the prominent war memorial onto Darwin Rd for 500m [past Dunscar Arms], then L up Arnold Rd. The Flag Inn is on the L at the next junction, which leads up to the quarry. Not much change – more of a reminder to you all that Beudy is available more often than you might think. This coming weekend (16/17 June) Mike Zeidan has booked the whole place. Sam Salmon has booked a couple of spaces from 25th June to 1st July; Ed Bartlett has booked 2 spaces on 30th June. All the crowds will be at the Gogarth Meet on 23/24 June, so why not come and have the hut to yourselves that weekend. In July, Elizabeth Wilson is running her first ever Club Meet on the weekend of the 7th/8th – there is something for everyone, so let Elizabeth know if you are going. Audrey Russell has booked 6 spaces for Friday 20th for people attending her Anglesey Coastal weekend but apart from those two bookings, the place is (at present) empty until the end of October, apart from Steve Gregory’s Club Meet on 18/19 August.
