Beudy bookings update

Surely the weather in the UK can’t continue for much longer (can it!)?

Here’s what’s happening at Beudy until the end of (flaming?) June.

Next weekend (20/21 May) is quite busy, with parties of 6, 5 and 3 already booked in. The following weekend (27/28), Rob Peppit is bringing a party of 10 from DPC.

Strangely, only 2 people (from London MC) have booked for the Early May Bank Holiday weekend, so plenty of room at present. Andy Stewart has organised a last minute Meet for the following weekend (11/12 May) – let Andy know if you are up for it or, indeed, as he says – up to it! Long time regulars (and I mean long time – they have been coming every year for well over 50 years), OBEC have booked the whole hut for the weekend of 18/19 May. Veterans in Sefton have a group session booked for 20-22 May. This takes us to the Late May Bank Holiday weekend. Peak CC, who are frequent visitors to Beudy, have booked the main dormitory (11 bunks) but are wanting more spaces. Let me know as soon as you can if you want to come that weekend so that, in turn, I can tell them the availability for more spaces.

The annual working/maintenance weekend is on 1/2 June. Details are in Meetstaff – let me know by the Tuesday before if you intend coming so I can organise food for the Saturday evening meal. After that, the hut is virtually empty until Pete Edgerton’s Club Meet on 29/30 June. Again, let Pete know if you are going.

That’s it for know.

PS I’m writing this in the shade of a lemon tree in the back garden of a lovely house in the mountains of Gran Canaria, where it has been in the 25 to 30 degree range for the last 3 weeks. Not looking forward to getting back to Charlesworth on Tuesday!
