Beudy bookings update

This is how it stands up to the end of September:- It is Elizabeth Wilson’s Club Meet this weekend (13/14 July). I believe there are some spaces left, so contact Elizabeth if you would like to go. Apart from a couple of bookings for 2 or 3 people towards the end of the month, the hut is empty in July. in August, Steve Gregory has a Club Meet on the weekend of 3rd/4th, John Wootton has booked 5 spaces from the 18th to the 23rd and Joe Fisher has booked 2 spaces on the Bank Holiday weekend of 24th to the 26th. Carole Smithies has booked the hut for her High Camp Meet on the 30th to 1st September. In September proper, Keith Towell has booked 2 places from the 16th to the 20th. Please let me or Steve know if you intend using the hut. Thanks.

Gritstone Weekend

As I missed putting details in the last Meetstaff, just a reminder that its the usual format with two different crags on the 6th and 7th of July. I’ll be at the crags from 10am and will post details of which crags on Thursday the 4th once the weather forecast might point to the best options. I can be contacted beforehand as per details in the handbook or on the day on 07847376071.

Dovestone Tor Meet

Hoping to see lots of Rucksackers at Dovestone Tor (SK197898) this Saturday (22 June). If you haven’t been before, best to park at Cut Throat Bridge on A57, though it does get busy. The old car parking near Strines Inn is apparently closed. Aim is to climb/boulder/etc, soak up the cloud and later adjourn to a place that sells beer. If anyone wants a lift and can get to Glossop Saturday morning, I’ll be leaving around 7.30am. Mobile 07946 324956.
